The Greco-Roman ideal, expressed in the classical revival, is represented in this reproduction of an antique weathervane. Our Fame is poised atop an orb, one leg lifted away like a Degas ballerina. Te three dimensional figure, with outstretched arms holding her trumpet and a halo-like wreath, is completely hand made in distressed copper, patinated with traces of gold leaf, fold paint and patches of oxidation. Comes complete with matching hand wrought iron floor stand. In the manner of their antique predecessors, our balance toys are true originals.
